Soap Bag ~ Spa Set

If liquid soap and a bath pouf is not your thing, then this soap bag is the spa accessory for you! Just slip your bar soap inside and tie it shut, then enjoy the scrubby bubbles. This bag can be reused when your soap is gone, and it can even be tossed in the washing machine. Just be sure to give it a good rinse before, so you do not over sud your machine with all the soap still in … Read more

WiP Wednesday ~ 2/27/13

Well, it’s Wednesday again. That means it’s time for me to share what I have been up to for the past week. As the girl’s vacation wrapped up, Doug and I made a cover for the radiator in the back corner of the playroom. I wanted them to be able to sit and read and have a place to lean against.

Delivering Hope!!! Craft Hope #19

Well, as of this past Thursday, Craft Hope Project 19 is all wrapped up! The girls and I made our deliveries, and had a fun (and slightly stressful) adventure. Doug helped me pack up the 371 softies into Thor ~ my trusty TrailBlazer. The girls strapped into the back, and Owlivia sat up front with me to supervise the delivery of herself and her 370 closest friends. Then we drove over to the first drop off. I had contacted Bergen … Read more

Textured cotton washcloth ~ Spa Set

These cotton crocheted washcloths are become more and more popular. If you have ever used one you know why. They are so soft and so scrubby all at the same time. It really is a spa experience  They are a great way to pamper yourself or make some and give them to pamper someone you know could use a little TLC.

I tried a variety of stitches, and here is the one that I liked the most. It works up very quickly, and without taking up too much yarn.

Guest Blogger ~ Lorene of Cre8tionCrochet.com

My adventures in blogging and pattern writing have brought many wonderful things into my life. Possibly the most wonderful are the friendships I have developed with other bloggers and pattern writers. When this~whole~internet~thing started I never would have thought I would develop real friendships through it, yet I have. I have a group of friends who I have never met in person, most of whom I have never even spoken to on the phone, yet I do care for them deeply. I … Read more

WiP Wednesday ~ 2/20/13

I think it is time for a new tradition…WiP Wednesday (that’s Work in Progress for those of you wondering.) I tend to spend most of my Wednesdays with hook or needle in hand, or typing up new patterns, so I may as well share the progress with you each Wednesday evening.

Bath Pouf in two sizes – Spa Set

I love using my bath pouf, but I am always buying new ones. They either stretch out, or I just feel like I have had them long enough and they are no longer “clean.” That is why I am so fond of these crocheted versions. Just toss them in with the towels on laundry day, and they are ready to keep on cleaning! Such a money saver. Plus, they feel even better then the nylon net variety. Grab some cotton yarn and hook yourself a spa day!

Company! Fun with the littles

We had quite a fun time yesterday! Vada’s “best” friend (she actually has 3 or 4 of them,) Izabel, was over. Iz abel’s mom had to go into work at the movie theatre from 12 to 4. So she asked if we could watch Izabel for that time. She also said we could all go over to the theatre and watch “Escape from Planet Earth” for some of the time. The movie was set to get out at the same … Read more

Squares Headband

Here is a fun headband of little squares to keep you cool as the spring approaches. Make it of just one or two colors, or have fun with many colors, the possibilities are endless! It is a great companion to the dotted headband.
