wrap up next week

the flashback cal wrap up for this week will merge with next week. i am crazy busy with getting ready for the knit and crochet show. once i am there (tuesday night) i hope to post every night, as my hotel has free wi~fi, and i will be alone, so there will be no distractions. talk to you then.

Half(ish) way done with Katherine!

My head is going to explode, you may want to take a step back…

I have so much going on right now I can’t seem to keep it all straight, and I feel like my head may go kaplooy at any moment. Kaplooy? How do you spell ka-ploo-ie?

I have the top of the Katherine coat done, and am about 1/4 of the way done with the top part of the skirt. So I still need to do the rest of the top part of the skirt, the bottom of the skirt, the hood, the pockets, and the belt. I leave for the knit and crochet show two weeks from today. Oh dear.

Let’s not even get into the rest of the things I need to do before then.

Daisy chaos and camera news

Last night was our first Daisy meeting of the year. Upon turning in our room request schedule for the meetings at the school, we discovered that the policies had changed and we needed 40 days notice to request a room. Circle to Triangle Bunting ~ Free Crochet Pattern

This granny inspired creation starts out with a circle, then transitions into a triangle. Make it all one color, or up to 6 different colors. Change up the colors for different seasons. You can use the triangles just as is for various uses, or string them together to make bunting. In honor of Crochetville’s slip stitch event ~ Summer is Slipping Away, I have included instructions on how to make the bunting with a wider ribbon~like string, which is made using slip stitch crochet.
