Happy Thanksgiving!

Holiday Coupon 2015

Hello my friends! Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m going to be spending some time with my family. After all, Jessie At Home came about as a way to keep in touch with my extended family, and to keep a history of my immediate family.

So, this will be my last post until Tuesday. That means no round up, pattern, or link blast. Everything resumes as normal (wait, we have normal?) on Tuesday. I hope you all are able to take some time to be with your loved ones as well.

As a thank you to you, my loyal readers, I have set up a coupon code on both Ravelry and Etsy. Use the code

Gradient Crochet Pattern Round Up

I’ve been seeing more and more gradient and ombre patterns popping up lately, and I love it! I’m quite fond of the way they can subtly move from one color into the next, so that you often can’t even notice where the changes happened! There are many ways to achieve this look, from a yarn that does it for you, to pacts of yarns made to work together as a gradient, to picking out the yarn colors on your own. I have searched around and found several examples of these fun color changes for this week’s round up!

{Mix·ol·o·gy}

OK, that’s just fun to type. I’m so proud of myself for figuring out how to get those little dots in there.

Did you enjoy my free pattern on Thursday? I certainly enjoyed making it, and I just LOVE wearing it. I feel all fashionable and fun. Well, the journey to that pattern all started about a month ago when I received a lovely package from Red Heart Yarns.

Mixology-fun-from-Red-Heart

I fell immediately in love. {Mix·ol·o·gy} consists of 3 yarns: Solids and Prints, which are both super bulky 3~ply yarn, and Swirl, which is a super bulky and…fluffy… yarn. Swirl is sort of like a loose roving spun with a thread to hold it together. They all come in a variety of colors which coordinate with each other. And another super~cool thing: they are all the same gauge!! That means
