I love spring. It’s just so pretty. With spring come all the sweet pastel colors. They are so soft and gentle, just like spring. Pastels also are the colors of Easter. To celebrate spring, I have put together a collection of free pastel crochet patterns that have been designed in pastel colors.

The Chrissy Neck Warmer is inspired by one of my knit and crochet combined patterns: the Ellen Turtle-neck-lace. I’ve had the Fiber Optics yarn for a few years and just couldn’t decide what to make with it. Then when I got these awesome beads from Bead Biz, I suddenly knew what to do! I’m quite happy with the finished result, and I’m sure you will be too!
Purple is such a pretty color. It can be royal or demure, deep or soft. It always reminds me of beautiful flowers. It’s also the Pantone color of the year. Tonight I’m celebrating purple with 7 free crochet patterns that have been designed in purple.
