On The Go Crochet

Are you looking for crochet patterns to make while traveling? I travel a lot, and one thing I’ve learned is it’s always nice to have a project ready to take with me. I’ve put together a collection of 7 free crochet patterns to make while traveling that I think are great to take on the go. You usually want something smallish (blankets aren’t the best traveling project.) I also suggest a pattern that is easy to memorize so you don’t have to keep looking at the pattern, but if you don’t get motion sick, or if you are going to have time in a hotel, then a pattern you need to refer to can be good as well. Diamond Dotz are fun for kids, too!

I had so much fun making my Diamond Dotz canvas that I was sure these would be craft kits kids would like too. Turns out I was right, Diamond Dotz are a big hit with the girls. I wasn’t sure if their attention span would last, but Kyla and Vada found it so fun that they finished them in a couple of days. There are also some smaller kits that can be done in one sitting if you don’t have the time or the space for a larger/longer project. So if you are looking for craft kits kids would like, look no further than Diamond Dotz!

Lancaster Fiber Festival – So much fiber fun for all!

I am so excited about the Lancaster Fiber Festival, you guys! It’s going to be so much fun. The festival runs from Aug 16-18 and is a celebration of paper, fabric, yarn and thread. There will be vendors and classes and a good time will be had by all!!

I spent last weekend at TNNA (The National Needlearts Association) Trade Show. I get to see friends, make connections, and do lots of business.
