Flower squared came about when I was looking for a great flower for the Mother and Daughter hats I made a few weeks ago, I really couldn’t find one I wanted. I ran across this one by Lucy over at Attic 24 and it was kinda~sorta what I was looking for, but not quite. So I came up with flower squared! Then when I made some ear warmers last week (pattern to come) I changed it up again and finally ended up with the look I wanted. So here it is!
This is a quick and simple crochet heart that has many uses. I like to sew them onto a piece of felt to make coasters. I use a sewing machine and stitch along the sc boarder. These hearts can also be used as decorations on hats, scarves, skirts, purses, or whatever makes you happy!
I have a fun and simple pattern for you today! It is a striped bracelet with tied ends. I make many of these bracelets in a rainbow to sell at InsaniTea. They are a best seller of mine! I use Tahki Cotton Classic yarn to make these fun bracelets; though you can use another yarn of your choice with the corresponding hook size, you just may need to adjust the beginning chain number.
Lorraine is a quick ear warmer pattern that buttons in the back. This is a great way to keep ears warm, without a lot of damage to styled hair. I made a crochet version of Lorraine the other day, and it just screamed “make me in knit, as well!” So here is the knit version.
Lorraine came about as the solution to a conundrum. The littles and I wanted to give their awesome principal a Christmas gift. I remembered her helping students out of cars at the drop off door in the snow…with no hat or head/ear covering of any sort. I don’t know if she just forgot, or if she didn’t want to mess up her hair. So I came up with Lorraine – a quick ear warmer pattern that buttons in the back. Lorraine is a great way to keep ears warm, without a lot of damage to styled hair!

So I wanted a fun snack bag for the girls to use in kindergarten. It seemed like a good excuse to make a new pattern. The snack bag came out adorable, and I felt the need to share it for free with all of blogland! So here you go, my friends.
