Free Crochet & Knit Patterns and Yarn Delivery to Keep You Occupied

So….times are…interesting right now. We’re all about to spend quite a bit of time isolated. Some of us will be isolated with a few others, some, not so much. There is so much to worry about, we need something to keep us occupied. Thankfully, if you are reading this, you most likely know how to knit or crochet. So, I’ve put together some free patterns and a list of yarn and supply delivery for you.

Red Heart and Red Cross – Give back!!

Did you know that according to the Craft Yarn Council, 6 out of every 10 knitters and crocheters crafted a project for charity in 2014? If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know how much I love and encourage crafting for charities.

So, I’m quite happy to tell you that Red Heart has teamed up with Red Cross North America (USA, Canada, & Mexico). Red Heart has a free blanket pattern just for this event, made to be perfect for donating to your local Red Cross.

Moogly Round Up

Who loves Moogly? Everyone!!! This week’s round up featured patterns designed by Tamara Kelly of Moogly. Tamara is a superb designer, a brilliant business woman, and a very dear friend of mine. Most of Tamara’s patterns are free crochet patterns, but she also has knitting patterns and some sale patterns. I have included a mix of them all in this round up. In addition to the patterns and other wonderful content on Moogly, such as video tutorials, giveaways, and product review, Tamara also has 2 Craftsy classes, and patterns published in some online magazines. I’m sure we will see Tamara showing up in even more places across the yarnie universe!

New-pillows

Knit one, Crochet too.

Hello!! I have been knitting and crocheting like mad lately. I have been so busy that I haven’t written to you in a few days. Sometimes I forget to multitask. 😉 And let’s not talk about the fact that my facebook page is beeping like mad at me right now as the other Admins of the knitting group I am in are seriously distracting me with a conversation almost entirely in “stickers” (those silly little images you can add into … Read more
