I’ve had a cold all week. You can watch it progress through the videos of Week 2 Crafty Time with Jessie. It’s almost all gone now. I’m sure I’ll be fine by Monday. The girls and I made some really pretty and super neat stained glass look eggs to stick in the window. You can find general info, links to all the weeks as we progress, and the current week’s videos HERE.

Extended Triangle Wrap – Knit with one skein of fabulous yarn!

| Free, King Cole Yarns, Knit, Shawls & Wraps, Size 3 Yarn

The Extended Triangle Wrap is a design that’s been sitting in my “make me!” pile of sketches for quite some time. Knit with just one skein of yarn it’s fast and fun to make. First a triangle is knit, and then just one side is extended out to make this wrap. Long color yarn is this design’s best friend, and the King Cole Curiosity DK yarn used in the sample comes in quite a few beautiful colorways. The Extended Triangle Wrap is part of the 2020 Knit Along with KAL Corner.

Helen’s Squares – A pullover sweater named for my Great Grandmother

Helen Squares Pullover is a happy and cozy crochet pattern named after my great-grandmother. My great-grandmother was named Helen, and she taught me how to crochet, so instead of granny squares, I make Helen Squares! Ok, I actually called her Grandma Clark (her last name), but I always loved her first name. She was as beautiful as anyone named Helen should be, and she was amazing, strong, smart, and so loving. Enjoy your Helen Squares Pullover, may it bring you some of the happiness my great-grandmother brought me.
