    • I’ll take a look. I had a not-so-great virtual assistant for a while who marked everything as crochet. Thanks for letting me know.

  1. Hi, I love this beret but I am having trouble with the stitch count after rnd 40. The instructions say that I should have 90 stitches by rnd 50 but following the pattern I am only decreasing by 6 stitches each even numbered rnd. Wouldn’t that leave 120 at rnd 50? And, by rnd 56 I still have 102. Maybe I have missed something but obviously could use some help 🙂

    • You are correct at 102 – I’m not sure where my math went awry. This is an older pattern and no one has pointed that out before. You would have to do the repeat 2 more times (so 4 more rounds) to get to 90 sts. Then do 4-6 rnds of the ending rib.

Thank you for pointing this out. I’ll put it on my to do list as “FIX ME!”
