The Evie Poncho is a great way to dress up your little one for photos or a special event. It’s easy care and can be worn any day, not just for a special occasion. The Paintbox Yarns used gives you plenty of yarn to finish this pattern, and even has enough left over to make it bigger or longer if you would like.

  1. Thank you for sharing this pattern for the poncho. I would like to create one for my little girl, but she is no longer a size 6-12 months. If possible, please share the multiple for the chain/fdc for creating larger sizes, such as a 4T. Thank you!

    • You can add 4 sts at a time to the first rnd (so fdc 62, 66, 70…) and for each 4 sts you add you would need to increase the two parts that say repeat 13 times by one time. So for fdc 62 you would repeat 14 times, for fdc 66 you would repeat 15 times. I would estimate fdc of 66 would be what you need, that will make the neck opening about 2″ bigger.
