Jessie At Home - Melody's Mini CAL-KALPin

Before we get to the CAL/KAL – With Valentine’s Day just over a month away, I thought I would share a fun love themed pattern from Melody with you. It’s available in both knit and crochet!!

Let’s get to the CAL/KAL!! Now that we have our yarn, and we’ve made sure our gauge is right, its time to get knitting and crocheting!! Today we are going to make the hat up to the diamond section. For the crochet version that will be through the repeats of round 3, and for the knit version that will be through the repeats of round 2.

Notes: This section is pretty simple, just be sure to count your sts every few rows to assure you’re not adding or loosing any. It’s really easy to add or loose sts when working sc in the round.

Notes:
The start of this hat is pretty basic. I used a long tail cast on, and a stitch marker to mark my rounds. I changed color every round, so there was no need to cut the yarn between color changes.

I look forward to seeing your progress over on Facebook!! If you have any questions about the pattern or the CAL/KAL, be sure to ask there, it will be the quickest way to get help. 🙂
