Retro Christmas Ornaments is full of 15 angel crochet patterns and others as well. The patterns use crochet thread or size 1 or 2 yarn. I made the Angel Garland with Red Heart Nylon yarn and I love how it turned out!
I found the pattern to be easy to follow and memorize. After the second angel, I was able to keep making more without even looking at the pattern. It was nice to just watch a movie with my husband, and have a pretty holiday garland when the movie was over!
Many of the pattern require other supplies, such as stuffing, beads, ribbon, wood pegs or clothespins, and a few others. All the supplies are easy to find in your local craft store or online. If you’re a craft addict like me, you may even have many of them in your stash.
Some of the patterns in Retro Christmas Ornaments will also work as magnets or pins. You can also use a thicker yarn and larger hook to turn some into larger creations. Use your imagination and see what you can create!
The patterns in Retro Christmas Ornaments are all marked as easy. I found the patterns to be well-written. As usual, Leisure Art has done a great job with the layout and photos and has published a great book.
