Miss-Clause-Hat-Base

Cut 60 pieces of yarn 40” long. Weave 30 pieces of yarn in bottom of red band above the ear flap on one side, pulling half way through so there are 2 tails hanging in front of the ear flap. Weave the ends of about half of these through the bottom of the ear flap as well. Repeat on other side with remaining 30 pieces of yarn.

Braid the ends of the yarn hanging from the ear flaps. Tie the bottom of the braids into a knot, and clip (or don’t.)

Make a large pom pom and attach it to the top. Try using a pom pom maker!
