Designed by Jessie Rayot
This easy scarf is the first of the Nettie’s Super Simple patterns worked in rows. It can be made in one color, or in several colors. The ends can be left as fringe, or tied into tassels. This is a great beginner pattern, and there is even a link to a video to help with the stitch.

Help!! I’m seeing spots!!
This week I felt the need for a some jaunty, spotty, fun. Polka dots just make me smile, and I love making all of you smile as well, so here are some fun polka dotted patterns to bring on the smiles. 🙂

Nettie’s Super Simple Stitch in Rows Video Tutorial
The Nettie’s Super Simple series of patterns all use the same st, sometimes worked in the round, and sometimes worked in rows. This stitch is, as advertised, super simple! It is a stitch pattern that has been used probably since the first hook met hand. This video will show you how to make this stitch pattern in rows, so even a brand new crocheter can create these patterns!! If you are just learning to crochet, and need to know how to make your starting slip knot, a chain stitch, and a slip stitch (which are all the stitches you need), then check out the Learn To Crochet section here.
Red Heart and Red Cross – Give back!!
Did you know that according to the Craft Yarn Council, 6 out of every 10 knitters and crocheters crafted a project for charity in 2014? If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know how much I love and encourage crafting for charities.
So, I’m quite happy to tell you that Red Heart has teamed up with Red Cross North America (USA, Canada, & Mexico). Red Heart has a free blanket pattern just for this event, made to be perfect for donating to your local Red Cross.
The pattern is available in both Crochet and Knit, so either way, there is a version for you! There is also a matching pillow pattern in both knit and crochet, and a knit first aid kit. Red Heart is also
Pick-Up Mobius Ear Warmers
This pattern was so much fun to create. I’ve always been fascinated by mobius strips, and I prefer ear warmers that come in at the top, so mixing the two seemed only natural to me. This pattern is first worked in rows, then the long strip is joined into a mobius, and then it’s finished off in rounds. This pattern can be used to create ear warmers with nearly any weight yarn. I hope you enjoy creating these ear warmers as much as I did!
Knit Love Link Party #6
Hello! Welcome to the February Knit Love Link Party #6, hosted by Marie Segares and I. Every month we get more and more links, and they are all so beautiful! I’m quite fond of the the Plaid Scarf from Stitches ‘N Scraps in last month’s link party.
Be sure to share this link party with all your knitting friends so they can link up as well, and find new and fun knit projects around the web. Our link parties start on the first Thursday of the month, and end on the last Thursday of the month. Here are the 5 most clicked links from last month.
Pink Crochet Pattern Round Up
St. Valentine’s Day is coming up, so “pink” seemed to be a good theme for this week’s round up. Here are 8 very sweet pink free crochet patterns. Of course, you can make them in any color, but they sure are pretty in pink. ♥♥♥
Here are the names and links of each pattern.
Wet Felt Join
The wet felt join is a great join for a feltable yarn – such as most animal fibers. It’s best used when joining the same color, as when joining a new skein of the same color, or when there is a knot in your yarn that needs to be removed.
