As the daughter of a mixed media artist and a costume designer for Opera Colorado, my earliest memories revolve around colors and textures and the interplay between them. I love the warmth of fabric and the richness of its varied textures. Having lived in Israel, Japan and China, I draw inspiration from multiple aesthetics to create connections between cultures and peoples. I learned to sew at age 4, and started winning awards for it by age 8. My work has been widely exhibited and published at major museums and quilt shows around the world, in: The National Quilt Museum, ArtPrize (Michigan), The Denver Art Museum, The Mizel Museum (Denver), The Photographic Gallery (Finland), The New York Times, Threads Magazine, Asian Fabrics Magazine, Air India in-flight magazine, The Vienna City Hall (Vienna), by invitation at the Pacific Int’l Quilt Festival (California), Road to California, the International Quilt Festival (Houston), and in galleries and exhibits around the world. I have been privileged to teach sewing and textile arts to groups all around the world, including for Burda Patterns, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Colorado Free University, Kona Bay Fabrics, Kendall College of Art and Design (Grand Rapids, MI), and many more. I currently serve on the Conference Committee Board for H+H Chicago, and will be teaching 3 classes at Fiber+Fabric Craft Festival.
