Isn’t she pretty?
That’s my Aunt Joanne. The vest is pretty, too. It’s my Freya vest.
I started writing a wrap pattern at the beginning of October. It was beautiful in my head. Somewhere in the initial planning/math stages, something went awry. I think I tried to do too much. The pretty little picture was much more simple then what happened as I started writing.
So, in the end, I had something much more
Finally! New pattern day is here. Here is a bit about each pattern with a “buy now” link for those of you who can’t wait to get started. I will let you know the full price, but if you buy any of the patterns from the links here you will get a 15% discount through Wednesday, April 11th at 6pm Eastern time. After that the links will charge you full price. These links, and going directly to my Ravelry store, will give you immediate access to the pattern PDF to download. You may also go to my Etsy store, where everything is listed at full price, but you can type in the coupon code “bloom” to receive 15% off your entire purchase, not just the new patterns. Just be aware when you buy a pattern from Etsy, you will have to wait until I receive the notification email of your order at which time I will send you an email with the pattern PDF as an attachment.
ETA: The sale is over at this point, though there are others on occasion These patterns can also be found in my Craftsy Store.
So without further ado; here are the new patterns!
I have decided to focus!! I have so many knit and crochet designs floating around in my head, and I do have the skill to turn those designs into patterns. Every once and a while I write one up and put it up here and/or on Ravelry. Considering our current issues with coming up with over 10 grand for a down payment on a house, it seemed as though this might be the time to buckle down. Ravelry offers a great opportunity for me to find many talented yarnie folk who will test a pattern instead of paying money for one. I have started testing through my Yarrrn Club group over there. So far I have only started testing one, kind of as a testing test ;^) *ETA, I am now running my tests in a secret group on Facebook.
This is the pattern that is currently being tested, in knit. Tomorrow morning
I promised a fashion show of the new kid’s clothes, so here you go!
Kyla looking a bit stressed in her pretty holiday dress $14.70, reg $29.99. Paired up with fun little canvas bow shoes $2.69 (reg $15.99).
We got our JCPenney gift card! We all had a great time shopping for kid’s clothes. So. Much. Fun.
I received my $100 gift card from JCPenney that I told you about the other day. Talk about timing, the UPS guy was leaving as Doug was getting home. So then we excitedly hopped into the car and drove off to the mall to get some kid’s clothes! For free!
Kyla and Vada were all ready to go buy some pretty clothes! Aren’t they cute with the little purses their Aunt Aly bought them?
We got into the store and went to check the map.
I received a message from the CafeMom Team, letting me know I was picked for the JCPenney Children Influencer program. Free Kid’s Clothes!!
So a few weeks ago my wonderful friend Jenn gave me a few boxes of clothes. My girls just turned 3, and hers are 4 1/2 and 5 1/2. She has been handing down clothes to me since I knew the twins were going to be girls. I can’t even imagine how much money she has saved me.
After this batch of clothing, we felt we had a rather good collection of clothes with just a few holes (not in the clothing, but items needed like sneakers). Then, I received a message from the CafeMom Team
