Have you discovered the new Clover Stitch Marker sets yet? They are awesome. There are 3 different sets that all come in locking divided cases that travel well. There’s a set for everyone, and I was lucky enough to get to try out each set!
While at Creativations in January I received some Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn and a card showing how to make a macrame plant holder. I decided to give them a try. The Maker Home Dec yarn is really nice. It’s a tubular yarn with a core in the center of the tube. I think it would make a great rug! The colors it comes in are great for current home decor trends as well.
I had the pleasure of meeting with some of the wonderful people behind Zenbroidery when I was at Creativation this past January. We had a lovely chat about their products and about blogging. It was really a fun time, I love talking to companies about how we can work together in a way that benefits us both!
A few weeks ago, my friend Tamara asked if I would give one of her new patterns a test run. It had been a while since I made a pattern of someone else’s, so it seemed like a fun idea!
I recently had the joy of receiving a sample box from KPC (Knit Purl Crochet) so I could share about their yarn with you. KPC is part of a family owned company that is over 70 years old. They supply premium grade merino, cotton, and cashmere to luxury garment manufacturers all over the world. In 2014, KPC Yarn was launched in Hong Kong in order to offer hand knit yarns of the same fantastic quality to crafters everywhere.
I discovered so many new-to-me products and Creativations in Phoenix this January. Included in those nifty products were these no-muffin-pans-needed cupcake cups. They are paper, so they are biodegradable, but they are super sturdy. I was given a set to try out, so that meant the girls and I needed to make some cupcakes!
This January I was honored with being asked to review a Furls Crochet hook! I chose the Alpha Series hook, size J in Bloodwood. I’ve been using it on my worsted weight yarn projects.
