Hello my blogland friends! I’ve been doing some cleaning in my studio and found lots of yarn, crafts, books and so many totes that I just don’t think I will ever get to. Do you know what that means? Softee Baby yarn by Bernat has been one of my go-to yarns for quite a while now. I discovered how much I liked it when the girls were toddlers and I needed a yarn that was washable and not too thick. Softee Baby is 100 acrylic, and is a DK weight. It is also super soft!
While at Creativations in January I received some Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn and a card showing how to make a macrame plant holder. I decided to give them a try. The Maker Home Dec yarn is really nice. It’s a tubular yarn with a core in the center of the tube. I think it would make a great rug! The colors it comes in are great for current home decor trends as well.

By now most of you know that I LOVE Unicorn Clean (previously Unicorn Fibre) and all their products. It’s all I use to block and clean my yarn and yarnie creations. I even use Unicorn Fibre Wash for my machine washable yarn items. And of course I use Unicorn Power Scour for any stains that happen on ANY of my clothing, not just the yarn variety.
