Mango Moon provided the yarn for this review, all opinions are those of Jessie Rayot.
A few weeks back I received a package from Mango Moon containing 2 skeins of Big Bang – one for me to review, and one for me to give to one of you! Woo Hoo!!
I was so happy with the color they sent me, it’s a lovely, vibrant blue. Here’s what Mango Moon says about Big Bang:
Painterly colorways and lofty, thick ‘n’ thin texture make Big Bang perfect for your next quick project! Please note that Big Bang is not feltable. It should be hand washed to preserve its texture.
Painterly is the perfect way to describe the color. It was the first thing that stood out to me, the way the color is almost painted onto the outside of the white yarn, creating a beautiful, artistic, look. The yarn itself is soft and nice to work with.
This Thursday I will have a free pattern for you featuring Big Bang, would you like a sneak peek?
You can grab some Big Bang of your own from the Mango Moon site – and take a look at the color names, if you’re a geek like me, you’ll get a big kick out of them!!
As I said earlier, I have an extra skein of the lovely blue Big Bang to give to one of you. Enter the giveaway below for a chance to win!
