Hello my friends! I had a few requests for a video tutorial on starting the Crocheted Dragon Wing Scarf, so I decided to make that for you. It really is pretty easy once you get going, but those first few rows can throw you because everything looks weird until you get used to it. So, without further ado, here is the video tutorial to give you a hand!
I hope that cleared thing up for those of you struggling with the first few rows! Have a great day!

Hi Jessie,
I am trying to find the video for this. My daughter loves this and I wanted to make it her. When I go to check I can’t find it. Could you please help. I think your work is amazing
I only have the video for the start of this pattern, and it’s right there in the post. If you can’t see it, you may have some ad blockers on that are blocking it. Is that what you’re looking for, or are you stuck somewhere else?
Hello! I am excited about this pattern, thank you for posting it.
I realize this post is a few years old but am hoping you still reply: I am on row 60 and have done: Ch1, idc in idc, ch7, (sc, ch2, sc) in each of next 2 ch-2 ups, [ch7, (sc, ch 2, sc) in next 2-ch sp, The next step says: “sc in ch-1 sp” what do I do with the other 6 ch before I reach the next ch-2 sp?
Do you have any additional videos on this at the point when you transition from scarf section to wing section? I am having a hard time verifying I completed the round correctly as there isn’t a final stitch count for each round.
Best,
D
the ch-1 sp is not one ch of a ch-7, but is only 1 chain between 2 sc. In Row 59, there is a ch 1, and that is the ch-1 sp that you are working into.
I have added more videos for this pattern to my to-do list, but I have a lot of other things to get to as well. I am hoping to add them in the next few months, but we’ll see.
Hi Jessie, I am making the pattern and love it so far. I have a quick question… how do I know if the straight part is long enuf, before I move on? I am planning to use the buttons, btw.
Measure it and/or wrap it how you want it wrapped and see what you think.
