Gracie Baby Hat – free crochet pattern

After completing the Grace and Charm baby dress, I had plenty of yarn left for a cute little hat! I wanted something lacy to go with the dress, so I chose a split shell stitch. I added my That 70’s Flower to give it even more charm and to tie in the variegated yarn from the dress as well.

  1. Hello, I am trying to make the Gracie Baby hat and I am having a difficult time reaching the acquired amount of stitches in round 3 of the top of the hat. Suppose to end with 32 and I am ending with 28. Would you be able to help explain that round for me a little more.

    • Well, I don’t know what was taking up Rnd 3, but it was all sorts of wrong!!! I have fixed it, and it should work now. You will have 2 FPdc, followed by 2 dc which are fit in, all the way around.
