The Katie Skirt is a unique skirt that is part of my Kathrine line (you can see the child’s coat HERE, and the adult coat HERE). This skirt starts with 12 vertical wedges worked one at a time from the top down. They are joined using a join as you go method, so there is no seaming, and no multiple strands of yarn to work around. Plus, because the skirt is worked top down, it’s easy to make it any length you like! There are instructions on how to make horizontal stripes and how to change colors within the vertical stripes, providing many variations.
