Single Crochet Pattern Round Up

Wednesday Round Up 10/29/14 ~ Single Crochet

Single crochet is one of the first stitches most crocheters learn. It’s great for a beginner to be able to make a finished item. So I have collected some patterns made mostly with single crochet. Here is the Stitchopedia post that teaches single crochet. There is a video, written instructions, and step-by-step photos! Here are the names and links of each pattern, along with a little something that each designer has to say about them.

Six Petal Flower with optional second layer

This six petal flower can be it’s own finished item, such as a coaster, an applique, a pin, a hair clip, bunting, or so many other items. In addition it can be used within other patterns. This flower can be made with or without a second layer flower worked out of the top of the first round. There is a video to show the main flower, a second video to show the layered flower, a written pattern, and a chart … Read more

This, that, cupid and cleaning

I ran across this image the other day. I had to snag it. After all, it is so much the story of my life. Yet for some reason, my home looks nothing like Wonderland… This past Sunday was one of my Fiber Arts days at InsaniTea. While there I had to take a snap of the back of Travis’s laptop. It just always makes me giggle, it has so much personality.
