It’s coming…Craft Fair Season!!! Let’s get ready together. Here is a round up of free patterns to make craft fair goods.
I have broken down the list into three categories by how long they take, less then 30 minutes, half an hour to an hour, and 1 ~2 hours. To see the patterns, just click on the photos!
In the spirit of sharing, if you make any of these items to sell at craft fairs, share the photos in our Facebook group! Also, if you make any patterns from a Ravelry link, then it is always nice if you make a project page and link it to the pattern, it is a great way to say “thanks” to the designer and get them some more attention.
less then 30 minutes
PinThis striped bracelet can be made any any colors of your choice. I happen to like the rainbow version!
PinNicole of Niccupp Crochet wanted to create a version of a pacifier clip that is cute, doesn’t have buttons (choking hazard) and one that can have cute little interchangeable designs.
PinThis is one of 4 puppets that can all be found over on Moogly
PinThese adorable Flower Clips will brighten any little girl’s day. They are easy and quick to make, less than a half hour each and use up your yarn scraps. The clips make great gifts; attach a couple on a birthday card or add a couple to your little cutie’s Easter Basket. Crochet by Darleen Hopkins
PinHere is a pretty little way to keep your hair back as the warm weather approaches. So many color options!! There is also a square version.
PinThis easy and quick stash buster whose lacy stitch reminds me of a river crossing the hills, and of new branches being covered with leaves, is a lovely little gift that can be made with a few yards of any yarn, and a great introduction to knitting lace. Available in Spanish as well. ~ Natelia Prats
PinI love using my bath pouf, but I am always buying new ones. They either stretch out, or I just feel like I have had them long enough and they are no longer “clean.” That is why I am so fond of these crocheted versions.
PinThese bags require only a tiny amount of DK yarn and can be resized easily to the knitter’s preferred style and shape. You can knit a small bag in less than an hour and they could either be sold on their own or be used as containers for other craft goodies like jewelery or homemade soap. ~ Miranda Jollie
PinLorraine is a quick ear warmer pattern that buttons in the back. This is a great way to keep ears warm, without a lot of damage to styled hair. There is also a crochet version.
PinKnitted Bunny Pattern – bunny from a square Make a bunny from a knitted swatch — it’s almost as clever as pulling a rabbit out of a hat! ~ Jackie E-S of HeartStrings FiberArts
PinThis pattern was designed for womens size 7-8 but can be easily adapted to fit any size foot
1 ~2 hours
PinThis free crochet pattern tutorial on how to crochet a chunky crochet cowl / neck warmer is quick, easy and fun! ~ Yarn Obsession
PinWith the hope of spring to come, I have made you this pretty flower bib pattern. You can also make just the center flower as a coaster or bunting
PinThis dishcloth by Laura Aylor is a good way to use up scraps of cotton yarn and it’s fun to play with different color combinations. It’s also a great way to learn about short rows and to try out different ways of doing them (although only one method is described in the pattern.)
PinThese Granny~inspired ear warmers are just too fun! The pattern includes a link to the free pattern for the flower as well, which can be used in a variety of ways.
PinTroika Scarf :: Stash Busting Odd Ball Scarf This super easy scarf is knit sideways along the length in garter stitch and features features look-alike cast-on and bound-off edges. The scarf is named “troika” for the method of using three different yarns in alternating sequence. It’s great for odd balls or using small amounts of high-end yarns together with some more economical yarns, or even stash yarns you already have on hand. ~ Jackie E-S
