Land and Sky

Land and Sky is a lovely wraplette made with Anzula Ava sport weight yarn. It features a green semi-circle of double crochet, edged with a pretty blue lace. Land and Sky will add a pop of color to your outfit. It takes just one skein of each color.

18 sts x 11 rows = 4” [10 cm] in dc
Stitches and Abbreviations:
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
sp(s) – space(s)
st(s) – stitch(es)
tr – treble crochet
Row 1: Ch 36, dc in 7th ch from hook, [ch 1, skip 1, dc in next ch] 14 times, ch 2, tr in last ch.
Row 2: Turn, ch 6, dc in first st, dc in each of next 2 ch, [dc in dc, dc in ch] 14 times, dc in last dc, dc in each of next 2 chs, (dc, ch 2, tr) in next ch.
Rows 3-28: Turn, ch 6, dc in first st, dc in each of next 2 ch, dc in each dc across, dc in each of next 2 chs, (dc, ch 2, tr) in next ch.
Border: (worked in eyelets around piece)
Row 1: Switch to color B, (sc, 2 tr) in side of tr, ch 3, (2 tr, sc) in next sp, *ch 1, (sc, 2 tr) in next sp, ch 3, (2 tr, sc) in next sp; repeat from * to end.
Row 2: Turn, ch 1, sc in sc, ([tr, ch] 6 times, tr) in ch-3 sp, *sc in ch-1, ([tr, ch] 6 times, tr) in ch-3 sp; repeat from * to end, sc in last sc.
Row 3: Turn, ch 1, sc in sc, *hdc in ch-1, ch 2, dc in ch-1, ch 2, tr in ch-1, ch 2, tr in ch-1, ch 2, dc in ch-1, ch 2, hdc in ch-1, sc in sc; repeat from * to end
Row 4: Turn, ch 1, sc in sc, * ch 2, 2 dc in ch-2 sp, 3 dc in ch-2 sp, 5 dc in ch-2 sp, 3 dc in ch-2 sp, 2 dc in ch-2 sp, ch 2, sc in sc; repeat from * to end.
Here is a chart to help with the main section of the wrap. Please note the dashed line in the middle indicating some skipped stitches, be sure to follow the written instructions to get the correct stitch count.
