Yarn:
Prism, Tencel Tape (100% Tencel; 2oz, appox. 120ys; DK weight)

Hook:
US G/6/4.00 mm

Gauge:
After row 2, piece should measure 16 1/2″.

Stitches and Skills used:
ch ~ chain
sl st ~ slip stitch
sc ~ single crochet
dc ~ double crochet
st(s) ~ stitch(es)

Special Stitches:
ssh~shallow single crochet (AKA waistcoat stitch): insert hook in next sc, underneath the top loops and in between the 2 strands of yarn at the base of the st in front of the stitch and in between the 2 strands of yarn at the base of the stitch in back of the stitch, yo, pull through (2 loops on hook) yo, pull through both loops.

Getting Started:
To change the size of the necklace, change the hook size so that the necklace is the desired length after row 2. The necklace should fit comfortably around the wearer’s neck with a 1/2″ overlap. If a large size change is needed, add or subtract 8 chains from the starting chain. Every row will then have one more or one less (ch 3, ssc) at the beginning and end of the row.

Pattern:

  1. Hello Jessie,

Your pattern is absolutely beautiful and I would love to make some but I just wanted to run it by you if it is ok to sell the finished product, obviously giving you credit for the creation of the pattern?

    Kind regards,

    Ana Ahern

    • Thank you so much for asking Ana! I have no problem with you selling finished items made from my patterns. Obviously you can not make copies of my pattern and give or sell those, but selling finished items is just fine. I do ask that you give me designer credit ~ as you have said you would. I hope they bring you much success!! Please feel free to share photos of your creations on my facebook group which is linked at the bottom of all my patterns.

  2. Hey Jessie! I’ve been trying to modify this pattern for #10 crochet thread. Any suggestions on how to get it done, with a little less frustration?
