This wrap is really more of a very large cowl. It’s great for a plus size as it is large enough to wrap around twice even with a larger sized model.

You can make it longer or shorter by changing the starting chain size, and you can make it even wider with more skeins of yarn. With these bright colors, you will bring the sun, even on the coldest of days!

Red Heart Super Saver Stripes: Fruity Stripe – 3 Skeins
13 sts x 7 rows = 4” [10 cm] in dc v-stitch
Stitches and Abbreviations:
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
sp(s) – space(s)
st(s) – stitch(es)
Add or subtract from the starting chain in multiples of 3 to change the size of the wrap. Changing the size of the wrap will change the amount of yarn used.
Rnd 1: Ch 299, turn, (sc, ch 1, sc) in 2nd ch from hook, skip 2, (hdc, ch 1, hdc) in next st, *skip 2, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next st; repeat from * to end
Continuous rounds: Taking care not to twist, fold strip into a circle, (dc, ch 1, dc) in first ch-1 sp *(dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch-1 sp; repeat from * in continuous rounds (spiral) to desired size.
Finishing: (hdc, ch 1, hdc) in next ch-1 sp, (sc, ch 1, sc) in next ch-1 sp, sl st in next ch-1 sp. Fasten off.
Weave in ends.
