fptr – front post treble crochet
hdc – half double crochet

Pattern:
Row 1: Ch 28, dc in 4th ch from hook (3 skipped chs count as first dc) and each remaining ch. – {26 dc}
Row 2: Turn, ch 2 (counts as first hdc here and throughout), bpdc around next 5 sts, *skip 2 sts, fptr around next 2 sts, fptr around 2 skipped sts working in front of previous 2 sts**, bpdc around next 6 sts, repeat from * to **, bpdc around next 5 sts, hdc in last st.
Row 3: Turn, ch 2, [fpdc around next 4 sts, skip 1 st, bpdc around next 2 sts, fpdc around skipped st working in front of previous 2 sts, skip 2 sts, fpdc around next st, bpdc around 2 skipped sts working behind previous st] 2 times, fpdc around next 4 sts, hdc in last st.
Row 4: Turn, ch 2, bpdc around next 3 sts, *skip 1 st, fpdc around next 2 sts, bpdc around skipped st working behind previous 2 sts, bpdc around next 2 sts, skip 2 sts, bpdc around next st, fpdc around 2 skipped sts working in front of previous st**, bpdc around next 2 sts, repeat from * to **, bpdc around next 3 sts, hdc in last st.
Row 5: Turn, ch 2, fpdc around next 2 sts, [skip 1 st, bpdc around next 2 sts, fpdc around skipped st working in front of previous 2 sts, fpdc around next 4 sts, skip 2 sts, fpdc around next st, bpdc around 2 skipped sts working behind previous st] 2 times, fpdc around next 2 sts, hdc in last st.
Row 6: Turn, ch 2, bpdc around next 2 sts, fpdc around next 2 sts, bpdc around next 6 sts, skip 2 sts, fptr around next 2 sts, fptr around 2 skipped sts working in front of previous 2 sts, bpdc around next 6 sts, fpdc around next 2 sts, bpdc around next 2 sts, hdc in last st.
