This skirt can be long or short, and comes in sizes toddler to adult 5x – so there is something for everyone! Made with a basic ripple, it is really quite easy. The pattern is listed as intermediate because of the waistband, but just take it one stitch at a time and you will have no worries. Choose your favorite colors of Bernat Softee Baby to make this skirt your very own. The best part? It’s machine washable and dryable!!

Off Balance Skirt – a fun and free crochet pattern
After making the Skylark in Wonderland wrap, I couldn’t help but notice that it would seam together to make a really fun skirt. I even had a feeling the angle of it would work nicely for plus size figures as well. So I dove into my Lion Brand Heartland stash and gave it a go. The results are a skirt I’m sure to wear quite frequently this fall!!

Looped in Love skirt
The Looped in Love Skirt was inspired by my Dragon Wing Scarf. I love the way the increases work within the Jacob’s Ladder Stitch, and it just screamed “make me a flared skirt!!” I learned a long time ago, when a yarn or stitch pattern talks to me, it’s in my best interest to listen. So here it is, a fun skirt for all ages that flares between vertical sections of looped stitches. It’s made from the top down, so it can be made to any length that suits your fancy. The longer the skirt, the more yarn it will take.
Daisy ~ Free Crochet Skirt Pattern
Daisy is a fashionable flared skirt perfect for the spring and summer! This skirt works as a swimsuit cover up for the beach, or as everyday wear over tight shorts or leggings. Made with Lion Brand Modern Baby yarn, this skirt can be machine washed, which is always nice for children’s clothing!! Daisy got her name because the pattern is a variation on the Juliette shawl. Juliette was named after Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Guides (which became the Girl Scouts) and her nickname was Daisy.
Amelia – a wrap top skirt crochet pattern
Amelia is a fun, twirly skirt that fits a variety of shapes and sizes. The sides of Amelia are open from the waist on up.
Fanny Skirt
Fanny is a fan stitch and double crochet skirt with a slight flare. The top is made of 6 panels of fan stitch alternating with 6 wedges of double crochet. The wedges are what give Fanny her flare. The panels/wedges are made one at a time and connected to their neighbors as they are made, so only one yarn is being worked at a time; no multiple bobbins or skeins being worked at once! The bottom is ringed with alternating bands of double crochet and fan stitch and then finished off with a lacey trim stitch.
Rachel Skirt
Rachel is a slightly flared double crochet skirt with lace ruffles on the bottom. You choose how many rows of lace you want at the bottom of your skirt! Instructions are given for 7 different lace patterns, which can be place in any order, use several different laces, switch off between two, or even just make a few rows of the same one, it is all up to you!
