Stitchopedia Video & Photo Tutorial
Time to learn how to k2tog (knit two together). This is a very quick and easy decrease which adds many possibilities to your knit creations.
I’ve included written, photo, & video tutorials to help you learn this common stitch. The decrease created by the k2tog leans to the right, meaning the stitch on the left lays over top of the stitch on the right. The opposite decrease of the k2tog is the ssk (slip, slip, knit).

Written instructions with photos
Insert right needle from left front to right back through the first 2 stitches on the left needle.
Yarn over right needle in same manner as for regular knit stitch.
Pull yarn over through the two stitches.
Slide old stitches off the left needle. Now the 2 stitches from the left needle are only 1 stitch on the right needle, so you’ve made a decrease.
Congratulations! Now you know how to k2tog. Keep knitting my crafty fam.
Here are some supplies you may find useful.
Happy stitching my friends.
