So back on Father’s Day, we got the girls a pet. A little Anole lizard (also known as a baby dragon).
The girls named her Princess. They love her very much!
Vada likes to tell Princess “You’re a good lizard, Princess. Very good.”
Kyla always tells Princess how cute she is.
Aren’t they adorable together?
The girls really take such good care of Princess. I always oversee that she has all she needs, but I really don’t have to do much. They spray water in her cage a few times a day ~ Anole lizards like to lick the drops of water, as opposed to a water dish, though I still keep a shell with water in the cage so she has water if the walls and plants dry. They point out if the crickets are all gone. They ask to let her out almost every day. They are such good pet owners.
It makes me happy to see how much they care for Princess, and that they know that they need to take care of her, not just look at her or hold her. I am a proud mommy!
On another note, I stopped at ACMoore today. They are changing out some of their yarns, so lots o’ clearance. I couldn’t resist. I have to tell you, if there is an ACMoore by you, GO, buy some yarn, fun, fun, fun!!
So I got a mill end bag of patriotic stretchy yarn. Gonna have to come up with something fun to make!
With a half price coupon it was only $3.50. WooHoo!
Found some of the baby yarn I like so much (Bernat Softee Baby). It was on clearance for $3.00.
Then there was this fun fuzzy stuff from Caron, called Dazzleaire. It was $2.00 each, I’m thinking something wintery and soft.
Ooo…Look up there ~ a sneak peak at another pattern I’m making. I’ll post snaps of the completed projects soon.
