Hello!! I have been knitting and crocheting like mad lately. I have been so busy that I haven’t written to you in a few days. Sometimes I forget to multitask. 😉
And let’s not talk about the fact that my facebook page is beeping like mad at me right now as the other Admins of the knitting group I am in are seriously distracting me with a conversation almost entirely in “stickers” (those silly little images you can add into your facebook chats.) I know I should turn it off, but it is way to funny to miss…
Being 1 of 10 admins for a group of over 27,000 knitters can get a bit crazy. Sometimes we get a bit loopy…
So…anyway…the other day the girls got creative with some yarn boxes I had in the living room.
Vada is taking a nap in her rocket ship.
I don’t have the slightest idea what is going on here…
I have a lot of patterns in the works. Here are a few peaks. These should all be published before the Knit and Crochet Show at the end of the month. PLUS..at the end of the show I will publish the 2 patterns that I have entered in the Design Competition. I can’t even show you pictures of those until after the winners are announced.
As I told you the other day, I have finished up this fun wrap and the pattern is with my testers. This is one of those cases where I didn’t so much think that the pattern needed to be tested, but I wanted a few different samples to show you.
Kyla’s bed is fit for a Princess. I finally finished covering all the pillows!!
The blanket on the end of her bed is made with this pattern.
Here is a close up of all the pillows. The one with the teddy bear is the knit ruffle pillow, and the free pattern can be found here. Behind that is a cabled cable stripe pillow, the pattern will be up on this blog soon, as will the pattern for the knit bolster pillow in front. To the right of the picture is the one crochet pillow, the pattern for that one is here.
I have made some progress on my jeans skirt. I finished the front and back insets, and am about half done with the first of the side pieces!
This is a tee shirt. Can’t you tell? I will be wearing it at the Knit and Crochet Show.
I gave myself a little challenge today. To write a pattern start to finish in one day! I think I will succeed, but I am not going to have it ready to post until tomorrow. So close!!!
I almost forgot to share this snap with you! This was this morning. The girls announced they were going outside to make art.
