In my hunt for a great ear flap hat, I just couldn’t find what I wanted! I was looking for one that had the earflaps made within the last several rows. I just love the look of those. Unfortunately, every pattern I found was just not quite what I wanted. The flaps were the wrong size, or they sat at the wrong angle, or they stood straight out from the hat, or just didn’t lie flat, or something else! So I gave it a go. I also worked in a fun stripe pattern, as well!

Not sure why this and many other patterns where under the “free pattern” menu when they are not free.
