I like to end all my patterns with a few line drawings to help the user plan their colors.
The first one for Kat (Faerie Frock) is a cute little drawing of the garment being worn. The second is more of a drafting kind of take, which will really help with color planning.
The third is another drawing of the garment being worn, but this time with no hood, collar, or sleeves.
I have made one in this fashion. Here is Kyla wearing it.
I have also added in a way to make the top one color with just one additional panel on each side of the front opening.
I though it would be nice to put a little (optional) design on the back, also.
Kyla loves her little vest~type frock.
She was very happy to pose away!
I am now making another coat version in the 7~9 size with some of the variations. Solid top, no collar, a few horizontal stripes on the bottom.
The pattern will be available in my Ravelry store, and my Etsy store, on April 9th.
More later!
