These cozy necklace/neck warmers do what you all know I love: mix form and function! I always loose my scarf when I am out, and with these you just double them up for warmth when outside, then drop all or some of the layers for a stylish necklace once you have reached your destination. No scarf searching when it is time to leave, just double back up again and out you go!
Speaking of form and function. You know I am a fan of Katwise, who inspired my Kat coat pattern. I have once again been inspired by lovely Kat to create these fun arm warmers. Though I love the funkiness of the outside seams, you can certainly turn them about to put the seams inside!
Lots of flowers in the store, as well.
On a family note, here are a few of the latest snaps of the girls. Kyla is chasing Vada around the table in the photo above. Kyla is screaming “Hug, I want a hug!!”
Here is Vada with her toilet paper pumpkin wearing her pilgrim hat. Isn’t her hair cute?
Today Vada’s friend was having a movie theatre birthday party. Kyla was allowed to go, so Doug took the two of them. I had my yarn day at InsaniTea. Just before I left I took these pictures of Vada wearing the hat and scarf set I made for her little friend.
When I got home, this is what I found in the upstairs bathroom. Vada seems to have a scissor issue.
I did my best to fix it. The back was this short when she was done, with just a few stragglers an inch or so longer. Doug did brush her hair before they went to the party, but didn’t notice it was about 6 inches shorter then it used to be.
She had cut just a bit of her “bangs,” and a tiny piece around her left ear. However, it was enough that I had to cut it all down to even it out.
She was rather annoyed that I “fixed” her work. No, that is not a bald spot, her hair just parts like that, which looks a bit odd with such short hair.
Well, it’s past my bedtime, and I still have a few things to do before I turn in, so I will say good night, my friends.
