Origami has been one of my hobbies since I was 8 years old. Almost all origami pieces start with one of the origami bases: a folded form that starts a piece. This is one such base. You can find a list of all the bases I have tutorials for here: https://jessieathome.com/origami-bases/
Start the Cupboard Base with the Book Base (fold in half).
Open.
Fold left edge to center fold line and crease.
Repeat last step with right edge.
