The Origami Fish Base is the start of various Origami Patterns. You will find the written and pictorial pattern for the Fish Base below.
Origami has been one of my hobbies since I was 8 years old. Many Origami Patterns start with an Origami Base: a folded form that starts a piece. This is one such base. You can find more Origami Base Tutorials for here: https://jessieathome.com/category/crafts/origami/origami-base/
Be sure to crease well after each fold.
Step 1: Start the Origami Fish Base with the Kite Base and unfold.
Step 2: Refold the Kite Base in the other direction and unfold.
Step 3: Fold in half diagonally and only crease from where the Kite Base fold lines cross to the edges.
Step 4: Refold the two Kite Base folds on one side and press the flap made up.
Step 5: Repeat Step 4 on other side. The Fish Base is done.
