The Origami Plain Box is one of my favorite pieces of origami to make. It is so useful! You can use 2 squares of paper, one about 1/2 inch smaller than the other, to make a box with a lid for gifts. You can make them in various sizes for organization. I’ve even made big ones out of craft paper for snacks at a party!

Only one side of the paper will be seen on the completed box, so the color of the back side of the paper does not matter. Be sure to crease well after each fold.

Start with the Blintz Base. Find the pattern HERE.
