Happy Monday all! Have you hopped over to the Facebook group for the Patriotic Party CAK/KAL and added your pictures of your projects? I really enjoy seeing what you have been creating! Remember to keep checking the original CAL/KAL post for the list of all the patterns we are using.
I am finishing up my super exciting trip to the TNNA summer needlearts trade show! It has been a blast!! Oh the things I have to share with you. And not just words. There will be giveaways throughout the summer and hopefully some other fun things as well. So exciting!!!!
In the meantime, let’s take a look at some placemat ideas for your parties.
This past Thursday I released the Crochet Patriotic Placemat.
It was inspired by the knit version I released at the very beginning of our CAL/KAL.
Of course, you could always make a super simple single crochet placemat. This pattern was written using fall colors, but you could easily change the colors to suit your needs.
And of course, you could make a super simple knit placemat by casting on as many as you need for the width of your placemat, then knitting every row until you have reached your desired height. I don’t have a photo of one of those, but it is quite simple, and great for a beginner!
OK, I have to get back to the trade show awesomeness now. I can’t wait to head on over to the group and see more of your creations. Have a great week my friends!
