More very late snaps of our fun Medieval vacation.
So lets start with our pavilion.
This is the left side. The back wall behind the bed opens to let in a cross breeze. Don’t you love the oh-so-period truck behind our home?
The front of the tent, at the foot of the bed. These are two of the closets that I made.
The right side, you can see two more of the closets next to the bed. Note the fire extinguisher by the door. The one time I have no issue with a none-period item in plan view. The broken camp chair, however, is driving me batty!
The back wall, you can see the opening behind the bed again ~ yes, we close that up at night and in the rain.
Here we have all four kiddies hanging out in Mom’s house. My brother Alex and his family (Naomi, Elijah and Max) spent a few days with us. It was a bit off a tight it, but lots of fun! Actually it was their first Medieval event, talk about starting off with a bang.
Kyla all tucked in for the night.
Vada all tucked in for the night.
Very-Cool-Uncle-Alex teaching Kyla how to play the guitar.
Kyla accompanying Alex on the “shake~shake”.
My big brother and my two girls. Makes me happy.
Awesome-Sister-in-Law-Naomi, Max, Vada and Elijah walking.
Let the battle begin!
Charge!
I’m not so sure about these odds…
Poor Alex.
Max and Elijah with their new friend, Noah. The three of them had so much fun together. It made me very happy, because a lot of times Noah is the only little boy in our group. We seem to be having lots of girls lately.
Donna and Naomi laughing as Kyla hands Daddy an ax so he can play, too.
Elijah, Noah and Max in front of the Kingdom of Acre banner.
The boys just hanging in their PJs.
Mmmm…S’mores!
Naomi and Alex about to go to a dance class.
Alex and Naomi of to market.
Naomi, just chillin’.
One of my nights off ~ dinner in the market.
Elijah and his very nifty market purchase!
Alex and Doug playing chess. Doug was so happy to have someone to play with!
More pictures still to come. Hopefully soon. I’m still trying to get my days into some sort of a schedule.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

What an awesome holiday. Guess what? My name is Naomi and my boyfriend’s name is Alex, we found your pictures when we googled ourselves!
