The Stitch & Mat cross stitch kit from Design Works Crafts includes everything you need to make a great little cross stitch piece AND to mat it! You can then display it on the mat, or place it in an 8 x 10 picture frame. These kits are fun and relaxing and make great gifts for the crafty folk on your gift list. And I am giving away 1 kit to 1 lucky winner!
The kit reviewed in this post was provided by Design Works Crafts. All opinions are my own.
When I opened my Stitch & Mat cross stitch kit, it included all the supplies and instructions needed to complete the craft. All I need to provide myself was a pair of scissors. The needle was included, but for some reason didn’t make it into the picture above.
The instructions for the Stitch & Mat cross stitch kit were clear and thorough. If you have not done cross stitch before, you could certainly start with this kit with no problem at all.The piece of cloth to stitch on was plenty big and was cut very evenly. There was plenty of thread to complete the image.
There are several kits to choose from like the Stitch & Mat cross stitch kit from Design Works Crafts and they include images that are very in touch with what is popular in the DIY world at the moment. You can find these fun kits at your local JoAnn store, or you can pick up a few of them from the Herrschners website HERE.
