The picot stitch is a very common decorative crochet stitch. It is quite simple to make, yet can make your work look much more refined. Ready to make a little practice piece?
The one you see here is made with Red Heart With Love yarn.
ch ~ chain
sc ~ single crochet
sl st ~ slip stitch
Row 1: Ch 9, sc in second ch from hook, and each ch to end. (8sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, [p, sc in next st] 7 times.
