I love those big infinity scarves with solid sections and open sections. Chained to Infinity is my version of one of those fun scarves. It has alternating angled single crochet sections and chain sections. I made my sample in a color that is similar to Pantone’s 2015 Color of the Year: Marsala.
I just love the linen stitch!! In this post I will teach you how to crochet the linen stitch, AKA the moss stitch. I have a video to show the stitch, written instructions, and a chart and pattern for a practice piece as seen in the pictures. Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Stitchopedia.

The Delia Slouch Hat is the sister hat to the Delia beanie hat, it features a Jacob’s Ladder detail up the hat, and a starburst top.

Last week I shared a free crochet pattern for a vintage heart in two sizes. This week I am sharing a way to turn those hearts into a playful mobile.
Here you will learn how to make left leaning and right leaning post stitch crochet cables, over 2 sts or over 4 sts. I have written the instructions, included lots of process photos, and a video. I have also written and charted a sample piece for you to try out your new skill. Once you know these basics for cables, you will be able to tackle most post stitch cable pattern!

At this point the top half of the squares section is done, and we will be working the bottom half from the bottom up. This week we will be making 2 more Jacob’s Squares.

This free crochet pattern remind me of those vintage illustrations. There are two sizes of the vintage hearts to choose from, or you can make them both!
