Jake’s Blankie CAL ~ Week #5

This post may contain affiliate links. If you purchase something from one of these links I will be compensated. Thank you.

To read about the Jake’s Blankie CAL (Crochet ALong) and to find the links to each week’s post, click here. The intro post will also give you all the yarn info for the blanket, and other links that may help. I have created an event in my Facebook page to share photos and ask questions. You can find the event here.

At this point the top half of the squares section is done, and we will be working the bottom half from the bottom up. This week we will be making 2 more Jacob’s Squares.

If you need a refresher on the Join As You Go method, find that here.

Square #7:
Make one Jacob’s Square, with all rounds in color A. Finish off the square and weave in all ends.

Square #8:
Make one Jacob’s Square, with odd rounds in color B, and even rounds in color A. Work through round 6 as the pattern is written. On round 7, join square #8 next to square #7. Finish off the square and weave in all ends.

Here’s another color option!
