The Trellis scarf features an attractive lace pattern running through the center of the scarf. With just one skein of Cascade Cherub Aran the scarf is still six feet long, providing many ways to be worn. It can be wrapped less for cool days, and more for really cold days, making it wearable almost year round!

US-H/8, 5.0mm – Knitter’s Pride Dreamz used
Gauge:
14 sts x 8 rows = 4” [10 cm] in dc
Other supplies:
Yarn needle – Clover yarn needle used
Stitches and Abbreviations:
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
sl st – slip stitch
sp(s) – space(s)
st(s) – stitch(es)
Pattern:
Row 1: Ch 35, dc in 8th ch from hook, dc in each of next 3 sts, ch 5, skip 5, dc in next st, ch 2, skip 2, sl st in next st, ch 2 skip 2, dc in next st, ch 5, skip 5, dc in next st, ch 2, skip 2, dc in each of last 4 sts.
Row 2: Turn, ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch-2 here and throughout), skip first 3 sts, dc in next st, 2 dc in ch-2 sp, dc in next dc, ch 2, sl st in ch-5 sp, ch 2, dc in next dc, ch 5, dc in next dc, ch 2, sl st in ch-5 sp, ch 2, dc in next dc, ch 2, skip 2, dc in next dc, 2 dc in ch-2 sp, dc in next ch.
Row 3: Turn, ch 5, skip first 3 sts, dc in next st, 2 dc in ch-2 sp, dc in next dc, ch 5, dc in next dc, ch 2, sl st in ch-5 sp, dc in next dc, ch 5, dc in next dc, ch 2, skip 2, dc in next dc, 2 dc in ch-2 sp, dc in next ch.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 to desired length.
Weave in ends and block work.
