Two Ways Drink Cozy

This post may contain affiliate links. If you purchase something from one of these links I will be compensated. Thank you.

Drink cozies are awesome in the summer! They catch the condensation, keep you from freezing your hand on your cold drink, keep your drink cold, and act as a traveling coaster for your gatherings. These knit can or bottle cozies can also be made in a variety of colors or stripes so that no one wonders who’s drink is who’s. This is a double pattern, one worked in garter stitch, and one in stockinette stitch. The Two Ways Drink Cozy pattern is part of my Patriotic Party KAL.

Two Ways Drink Cozy
Knit Pattern
Intermediate Skill Level
Designed by Jessie Rayot

Fits a traditional sized can or bottle.

100% cotton worsted weight yarn such as Peaches & Creme or Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton.

4 or 5 size US8 / 5mm double point needles
optional: long size US8 / 5mm circular needles

15 sts = 4″

Stitches and Skills used:
k ~ knit
kfb ~ knit front and back
p ~ purl

Getting Started:
Start this pattern with 4 or 5 dp needles. You can complete the whole pattern with the dp needles, or switch to circulars using the magic loop method. You can also make the entire pattern using circulars and the magic loop method, but I find dps to be a little easier for the center of the circles.
