The third instalment in my 4 weeks of baby round ups is focusing on baby hats and mittens. They are just so tiny and cute!!!

**please note that this post has been scheduled ahead of time as I am on vacation, so if you have a question or comment I most likely will not get back to you until I am back home. Thank you.

Here are the names and links of each pattern, along with a little something that each designer has to say about them.

1) Baby Bonnet Hat in 4 sizes up to 12 months, Baby Flower Pot Bonnet ~ by TooCuteCrochet
How sweet is this precious little Blossom in the flower pot?
Quick and easy crochet pattern!
It is made all in one piece so you don’t have any petals to sew on afterward!

2) Baby Bonnet – Preemie – 3 months ~ Free Crochet Pattern by Posh Pooch Designs
A Fellow Crocheter and Yarn addict, asks me if I could design a baby bonnet pattern, that was sized Preemie to 3 months. Here is what I came up with: I designed a bonnet pattern, that can be made from chunky, thick and thin yarns as well as worsted weight. And 2 design options: ties or chin strap with button.

3) Crocodile Crochet Baby Mittens ~ Free Crochet Pattern by Debi Dearest

4) Kaleidoscope Bonnet ~ Crochet Pattern by Danyel Pink
This bonnet is lightweight and lacy. It perfect for beginners because it works up quickly and uses basic stitches to create the fun zig-zag texture. The kaleidoscope bonnet looks great in solid, variegated, and self-striping yarns. Pattern also includes a matching lovey/prop blanket!

5) Baby Pixie Bonnet ~ Knit Pattern by Danyel Pink
This is the knitting pattern for the Baby Pixie Bonnet. It includes sizes Newborn – 6 months. The directions include color photographs to help guide you, resources for knitting help, and suggestions for making your bonnet unique. This is an easy knitting pattern. You will need size 8 straight needles, size 8 DPNs, and a small amount of WW yarn to complete this project.

6) 3D Flower Easy Bonnet Newborn ~ Free Crochet Pattern by Debi Dearest

7) Barley and oats long tail hat ~ by Heidi Yates
Several hats in one pattern! Choose a braided tail, large pom, extended length, button on flower. Directions for all options included. This is a simple, very versatile, long tail stocking cap. Pattern includes instructions for all sizes, preemie to adult.

  1. I love the mittens. I would never think to do crocodile stitch so tiny, but anything to make babies hands warm and stylish.
