Winter Holidays are so fun to celebrate. Maybe it’s because we are often stuck inside due to the cold weather, or because people love to throw parties for them. Whatever the reason, I’ve collected 7 free crochet patterns to help you celebrate the winter holidays. Most of these patterns have a Christmas theme, but you can change the colors on several of them for any winter holiday you happen to celebrate.

Here are the names and links of each pattern.

1) Holiday Poncho by Jessie At Home
“The Holiday Poncho is great for cold evenings out and about, or even at home. The chunky crocheting and fringe are right in line with the current style; you will be the envy of the Holiday Party!”

2) Reindeer Stocking by Sincerely Pam
“This pattern combines two of my favorite things, tapestry crochet and stockings.”

3) Santa Wine Cozy by Crochet 365 Knit Too
“Wine cozies might be my latest favorite thing. They work up crazy fast and they dress up an ordinary bottle of wine into something really special.”

4) Peppermint Coasters by The Purple Poncho
“These make great gifts for teachers, neighbors, or anyone on your list. Make them in the traditional red and white, or mix it up and go for fun, colorful coasters.”

5) Crochet Joy Pillow Cover by Stitching Together
“As Thanksgiving has past and we move into the full swing of the Hap-Happiest season of all, I have been reflecting on the importance of thankfulness in the finding of joy.”

6) Hanukkah (Chanukah) Crochet Patterns By Posh Pooch Designs
“These were a Very Special Request from a crochet friend. She wanted something for adults and something for the kids to take home as gifts from her Hanukkah party.”

7) Poinsettia Christmas Tree Skirt by A Crocheted Simplicity
“Because we have such a variety of ornaments, I’ve always chosen a neutral accent color for ribbons and a Christmas tree skirt.”
