Well, the Yarn & Wine Tasting 2017 is over and it was quite the success. Everyone involved had a great time! Here is a little wrap up for all of you.
Before I really get going, let me take a moment to thank my awesome daughter, Vada, for taking all the pictures. So if you’re wondering why they are all taken from table height, now you know. 😉
It was a pretty rainy day, so this year we decided to have the event inside in the official tasting room, rather then outside under a tent. Thankfully we all fit without any fire code violations!
There was so much yarn and so many hooks and needles. Everyone got to try out so many awesome products! We spent some time discussing each of the items on the tables so people had chance to ask any questions.
At one point some impromptu classes happened. There was a table with 1 crocheter and 3 knitters, so the crocheter taught the rest of the table how to crochet. The table tried to teach her how to knit, but the crochet lessons were a better success.
There were a BUNCH of awesome door prizes that happened throughout the event. From small to large, they were all loved and met with many “ooooo”s and “ahhhh”s. I love giving things away!
We spent some time answering any random yarn related questions people had. I always enjoy helping people, and everyone seemed to enjoy helping each other.
Both sessions were tons of fun and I received a lot of positive feedback about the both the yarn and the wine! It was an exhausting day, but it was worth it.
Everyone left the event with a goodie bag full of awesomeness for yarn-related en devours. Now, this year we did not sell out of all the tickets, so I have a few goodie bags left over, so how about I give one away?

It looks like it was quite fun. Vada did a wonderful job with the pictures.
