The Delia Slouch Hat is the sister hat to the Delia beanie hat, it features a Jacob’s Ladder detail up the hat, and a starburst top.

Here is a great addition to your spring wardrobe, because spring is coming! I love playing with colors, shapes and textures in my knitting. The Divergent Necklace is the result of this. Short rows are used to add stockinette wedges into the garter stitch necklace base. Even if you have never used short rows before, you can make this piece by first watching the free Craftsy class I have linked to help you understand this technique.

Tamara Kelly ~ the awesome designer behind Moogly ~ is now also a Craftsy instructor! Her first Craftsy class is Quick & Easy Crochet Cowls, sponsored by Lion Brand.
I enrolled for the class right away, and watched it last weekend. The class includes instruction and patterns for the 3 awesome cowls seen pictured throughout this post. Last week I shared a free crochet pattern for a vintage heart in two sizes. This week I am sharing a way to turn those hearts into a playful mobile.
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to put together a collection of LoVe themed crochet patterns. Enjoy, and spread some love!

Here you will learn how to make left leaning and right leaning post stitch crochet cables, over 2 sts or over 4 sts. I have written the instructions, included lots of process photos, and a video. I have also written and charted a sample piece for you to try out your new skill. Once you know these basics for cables, you will be able to tackle most post stitch cable pattern!
